Google is preparing big new features for Android 15 as mobile protection and integrations with AI. But if you imagine that that was all, you know that there is more than one project that will allow you to control your Android phone using just your old ones. I just launched Project Gameface.
Announced today on the Google Developer Blog, Project Gameface is an Android accessibility service that allows the user to perform actions on the mobile phone using the device's front camera and the service Android MediaPipe as accessibility tools for gestures made with the rosto.
Among the control gesture options, you are ready to get busy, tell you, get up, get out, get out and open the box. Each time they can be associated with a keyboard or selection action, to start, open notifications, pause or play and open the applications list.
It is also possible to define the sensitivity of the system and the direction of the gesture to avoid acidic actions.
On the other hand, the Project Gameface offers 52 gestures in total so that users can use the cell phone with greater ease, mainly those who have some type of deficiency or motor restriction.
The developers have also fine-tuned their apps that are compatible with Project Gameface, but they hope that their general adoption will allow them to be used by more people around the world.
Seguindo esta tendência, Apple is also preparing new accessibility remedies for iOS 18.
