DJI is extended to your drone line with the launch of Avata 2 FPV, a new generation of the model that ganhou os holofotes por ser integrated into a virtual reality headset, allowing the user to view, in immersion and at real tempo, like camera filmers. Along with the drone, the manufacturer reveals the new Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3 control.
The Avata 2 FPV is equipped with a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor with a resolution of 12 MP. On the front of it, there is a wide angle lens that enters the viewing angle up to 'at 155º. The component supports 4K video recording at 60 FPS with HDRin addition to allowing smoother films at 120 FPS in 2K, as well as a large dynamic range.
One of the drone's new features is its support for 10-bit D-Log M core mode, which should improve the video post-processing experience for professional users. The Avata 2 contains 46 GB of internal storage. According to DJI, this capability allows you to display approximately 90 minutes of video in 1080p resolution at 60 FPS.
The model also contains image stabilization systems to prevent movement during aerial maneuvers. The DJI RockSteady, for example, reduces camera shake during high speeds and strong winds. Your new charging station now has a function that transfers the remaining energy from multiple batteries to those with the highest charge level, ensuring greater convenience for filmers.
The Avata 2 is designed to work with the new RC Motion 3 control, which also includes intuitive controls for making grips, as well as DJI Goggles 3, a headset with an adjustable diopter and low latency transmission with DJI technology O4, which allows you to transmit videos. at 13 km altitude (in selected countries).
To view immersion content, there are two types of Micro OLED that support 10-bit and refresh rates up to 100 Hz. As the model's binocular cameras, which show your cameras, they can be exposed during home transmission, which allows the user to have information on the space in which the drone is moving for gravity.
Home transmission can also be accompanied by the DJI Fly app and transmitted to another device up to 5 meters away.
Pricing and availability
The DJI Avata 2 is available in different kits. The Fly More Combo includes a drone, battery, glasses 3 and RC Motion 3 por €999 (approximately R$5,419) in Europe. It is also possible to acquire this combo with three batteries, a two-way carrying station and a shade bag costing €1,199 (approximately R$6,499).
You can also buy the drone separately for €489 (around R$2,660) and the FPV 3 remote control for €149 (around R$810). Finally, a set of ND 16/08/32 filters is also available for €69 (around R$375).
DJI has not publicly confirmed the release of Avata 2 in Brazil, but your Brazilian site announced the drone on the homepage. However, the official loja and packages of the brand in the country are not yet available or a model for purchase.
