Jethro Nededog, a longtime entertainment journalist and editor, is crossing the barrier to work in public relations. Nededog joined the Lippin Group as vice president of the corporate communications team.
The announcement was made Thursday by newly installed general managers Matt Biscuiti, Kevin Broderick and Katie Fuchs. Based in Los Angeles, Nededog joins Biscuiti and Broderick on the corporate team and will work closely with leaders from the firm's Los Angeles, New York and London offices (including Jim Benson, president of corporate communications). Nededog is well known in Hollywood and entertainment media circles for having covered the television industry for a long time. Most recently, he was co-editor of a specialist publication LeWrapwhere he also held the positions of business news editor and TV editor.
Previously, he served as news editor at Weekly Entertainment and as entertainment editor at Insider. His resume also includes television reporting for Business Insider, The Hollywood Reporter and the Los Angeles Times. the New York University graduate, who earned an MFA in writing from USC, has also produced television documentaries for the National Geographic Channel, Discovery, History Channel and E! Entertainment.
