Welcome to the weekend. First, read our Vision Pro goodbye, but also try not to look directly at Devindra's Vision Pro avatar. I think that might be the case damn. Yes, Apple's vision of the future of computing is here to bleed thousands of dollars from early adopters. I'm half-joking: Apple brought its smarts to AR, gesture interfaces, and high-tech (those screens!) to drop the jaws of the world. But you may not need it yet. We also cover the biggest podcast in the world that's gaining momentum and those eternal rumors about the iPhone folding. It might happen, but you'll probably get a foldable iPad first.
Do you need all the AI tricks to create a competitive smartphone in 2024? Well, OnePlus is here to refute that. THE OnePlus 12 has the same fast performance and better battery life as the Galaxy S24+, plus solid cameras and a great screen for $200 less. There are few to no AI tricks, but that doesn't take away from the excellent battery life, high-resolution cameras, and $800 price tag. Full review here.
