On YouTube, in your most recent experience, go there dedicate to fixing incorrect captions in videoswith suggestions provided to users, in a format that challenges the collaborative aspect of Google Maps.
After general recognition, the accuracy of captions may be compromised by various variations of the caption, or it may confuse viewers who depend on the captions. In a recent update to YouTube's Testicles page, the developers explain how viewers can participate.
Users can help view videos on their desktop with automatic captions enabled as part of that experience. If you encounter an error, you can suggest a fix by clicking on a player's configuration icon, by selecting “Legends” and “Suggest correções de legendas”.
This will allow you to view the transcript of the video captions, so you can suggest edits and send them for analysis.
During the process, users can view other people's suggestions and, to avoid duplication, can vote on the suggestions using the pole icon for this. However, the suggested fixes will not be immediately visible to other users or testers of the experimental program.
Currently, the experience is focused on a small percentage of English channels that have automatic captions. To participate, users must access YouTube on a web browser without a desktop computer.
