The Family of a 25-Year-Old Adult Film Star Emily Willis provided an update on his condition following his hospitalization last month.
By TMZ, her stepfather Michael Willis revealed that she had not regained consciousness and was in a coma. Although her condition has stabilized since she was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition, Michael said she remains unresponsive. The outlet writes that it has been “said the family is preparing for the worst” as she is on a ventilator to help her breathe.
Before being hospitalized, Emily Willis was in rehab for a little over a week. She suffered a cardiac arrest during treatment, although toxicology reports show she had no drugs in her system at the time of her admission to the hospital. Authorities initially reported that she had suffered an apparent overdose. The family is still waiting for a physical version of the toxicology reports.
Willis spoke openly about her drug addiction with her family, but her stepfather noted that she wasn't eating enough just before entering rehab. She only weighed 80 pounds when she arrived.
Earlier this month, Willis' family launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover his medical expenses. “Recently, Emily's world, and ours, was turned upside down when she was admitted to the hospital, marking the start of an incredibly difficult and unforeseen battle,” her family wrote on the site. GoFundMe page, which received more than $30,000 of its $60,000 goal. “With every ounce of her remarkable strength and courage, Emily fights.”
In an update on the page, her stepfather wrote that she is “fighting for her life” and that the family is “by her side as she slowly tries to recover.”
“It warms the hearts of those close to her to know how much she is loved by those who know her. Any type of support is appreciated, and nothing is expected or taken for granted,” he wrote. “Your support gives us the strength to endure and stay true to Emily. We would like to express our gratitude to those who have donated and know that your generosity will go a long way in Emily's ongoing recovery process.
The award-winning adult film star launched her career in 2017 and was named Penthouse Pet of the Month in 2019. She has starred in over 700 films through 2024 and most recently starred in the science horror film -fiction produced by Steven Soderberg. Divinity.
