Conveniently, Google adds an element to select the profile of the YouTube application, as well as we have applications like Netflix, Prime Video and Max. The YouTube Kids app will be discontinued in July 2024.
While the video is displayed, the selection box appears as a YouTube Kids performance indicator. On the other hand, on the main YouTube site, you will also show a YouTube Kids to identify that the content is appropriate for children.
To add a profile on YouTube Kids, simply access the application settings and access the account, it will then be possible to add a normal profile associated with a Google account or a children's profile with restriction of identify.
Obviously, the unification of applications will be a great advantage for Google, which will aim to refresh one application to both of your users.
YouTube's announcement does not mention the app allowing you to create settings to block performance and prevent children from accessing an incorrect profile in the initial version, but there is evidence that this option is released at some point by the platform update.
