Ariana Madix is suing her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval over their shared Los Angeles home.
The 38-year-old reality star has launched legal action against her “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Tom in an attempt to force him out of the house they both still live in.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the former couple — who split in March 2023 after Ariana discovered Tom was cheating on her with their co-star Rachel Leviss, 29 — disagree on the sale of the property.
Ariana asks the judge to grant a “division by sale,” whereby they would sell the house and split the profits.
It also asks for an “equitable distribution of the sale proceeds,” including “payment of the debt secured thereby and partition costs,” as well as attorney fees and title costs.
She is opposed to a “partition in kind” which would allow both to retain ownership of the property.
In August, Ariana revealed that she and Tom, 40, still lived together in the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home.
Speaking to Scheana Shay on her 'Scheananigans' podcast, Ariana said: “I sleep a lot easier at night, not worrying about when he walks in that door. …Yes, we're in the same house but I don't Don’t do it.” I don't need to think, “He's coming to my room” – because he's not. I sleep with my door locked, just in case.”
She told “Today with Hoda Jenna” in May: “I've been on the phone with a real estate agent. And I would like to sell this house and move somewhere and own my own place and start my new life.”
