“I left him alone, he left me alone” Dunst told “Marie Claire” about her experience with Plemons on the set of “Civil War”
Couples who work together stay together, but they don't always talk!
Kirsten Dunst and husband Jesse Plemons have a lot of experience in this field – they met on the set of FX Fargo in 2015 and co-star in 2021 The power of the dog.
This year, Plemons, 35, and Dunst, 41, will appear together on the big screen again in the action film directed by Alex Garland. Civil warand it's all thanks to Dunst, she said Marie Claire.

THE Marie Antoinette The star recommended Plemons for a minor role in the film after the original actor was unable to fill it, she told the magazine.
“Alex is very lucky that I’m married to the best actor,” she said with a laugh.
The stars – who to have married in 2022 and share two sons – don't interact much on screen in Civil war (Plemons only stars in one scene) and according to Dunst, they didn't interact much on set either.
“Because we fell in love on set, we fell in love creatively first,” she said. Marie Claire. “I think we'll always come back to it, in a way that doesn't involve our real lives at all.”
“And then listen, we don’t talk to each other on set,” she added. “I left him alone, he left me alone.”

But make no mistake: the Bring it the star loves touring with Plemons.
“I love working with him,” she told the magazine, adding that “the nice thing is we trust each other so much.”
And their collaboration extends beyond the projects the two stars are involved in, she added.
“He sent me a scene from this mini-series he’s working on last night to get my opinion. If I’m having trouble deciding on something, I’ll ask him to read it,” she said. “I trust his opinion more than anyone, and he cares about me more than anyone.”
Plus, she and Plemons “hate the same things,” Dunst noted with a laugh.

Discussing how she has experienced her long stay in Hollywood so far, the actress said Marie Claire“I just have really good people around me.”
“I have good friends and my mother has fun and comes every day,” she added. “I’m very close to my family and I have a wonderful husband.”
