Christian Oliver's family is “deeply saddened” by the actor's death.
The movie star and her two daughters – Madita, ten, and Annik, 12 – died in a plane crash in the Caribbean on Thursday (01.04.24), as their plane was flying from JF Mitchell Airport in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Lucia and Oliver's family have released a statement regarding this tragic incident.
His wife, Jessica Klepser, and their family said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash on January 4, 2024, which claimed the lives of our beloved family members. Our daughters, Madita (12) and Annik (10), along with their father Christian, were returning from vacation in the Caribbean when the single-engine plane they were traveling with experienced an engine problem and fell into the sea. Unfortunately , the four passengers of the small plane did not survive. (sic) “
The actor's death will be “deeply felt” by his friends and family.
The statement – which was posted on Instagram – read: “Their devoted mother, Jessica Klepser in Los Angeles, survives the girls. They also leave behind their grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins in Germany.
“Christian, an actor in Europe and the United States and a real estate agent with an extensive network of close friends around the world, is survived by Jessica, her parents and her sister in Germany. His loss will be deeply felt by all those who knew him.
“Please honor the family's request for privacy during this difficult time. (sic)”
Oliver – who has died aged 51 – starred in several famous films during his career, such as “Speed Racer” and “The Good German”.
The actor – real name Christian Klepser – actually took to social networks on January 1 to look ahead to 2024.
Alongside a beach photo, he wrote on Instagram: “Greetings from somewhere in paradise! To community and love…2024 here we come! (sic)”
