Ministry data indicates that, since the start of vaccination, 1,235,119 doses have been sent to states and municipalities, with 534,631 doses already applied. In fact, there are 700,488 doses that are still not registered as applications. On the other hand, 13 of the 521 municipalities that receive vaccines still cannot send data to the federal government.
To avoid the despair of unused doses, the Ministry of Health has developed a technical note to regularize the redistribution of vaccines within the own states, as explained by Márcio Garcia, director of the Emergency Department of Public Health.
This ensures that all available doses are used effectively and that the maximum number of people can be protected against dengue.
