Eva Longoria joked that her son was too “diva” to star in her films.
The 48-year-old actress has five-year-old Santiago with husband Jose Baston, and Eva revealed he won't be starring in any of her film projects anytime soon.
Speaking to E! News, Eva joked, “They're like, 'Wouldn't it be great if we just used your son?' I say to myself: “Absolutely not”.
“He's such a diva. He's not cooperative. He doesn't take notes. He talks back.”
Despite this, Santiago loves “Dora and the Lost City of Gold,” Eva's 2019 adventure comedy.
The actress – who has been married to José since 2016 – shared: “He loves Dora. Because he's like, 'Wait, you're his mother?'
“He was very confused about it.”
Meanwhile, Eva previously claimed that she considered her political activism more important than her popularity.
The Hollywood star has been outspoken on various political and social issues over the years, but Eva isn't worried about losing fans because of her opinions.
She said in the December/January 2023 issue of ELLE Women in Hollywood: “There are things that are much more important than the box office and the viewers.
“Women's rights are very important. The dismantling of human rights, of health systems, of education systems. The banning of books. These are very dangerous things that need to be talked about, examined, voted for and defended. So this It's not a “Oooh, do I do it? I have to do it. It's non-negotiable.”
Ultimately, Eva is determined to help protect democratic values.
She said: “I never think, 'I'm going to alienate half an audience' or 'I'm going to lose fans on Twitter.' It doesn’t matter to me if I save democracy.”
