Famous Los Angeles Photographer Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault; accused of soliciting victims on modeling sites

LOS ANGELES (KABC)– A famous photographer has been accused of sexual assault and police are searching for other possible victims.

Kenneth Howard Dolin, 64, was arrested Monday and now faces a charge of penetration with a foreign object.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a 29-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted by Dolin in January at his Hancock Park studio.

“The detective's follow-up investigation revealed that two other female victims in their 20s also accused Dolin of sexual assault in 2017,” the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.

Police said Dolin used his “significant connections in the entertainment industry” to “solicit victims on modeling sites.”

“These victims felt trapped and had to comply with his advances,” Detective Brent Hopkins, supervisor of the Special Assault Section, said in the LAPD statement. “There is a huge difference between fine art photography and sexual assault. We want to make sure we know everything that happened and make sure that line is never crossed again.”

Investigators believe additional victims have not yet been identified.
