Miley Cyrus had no idea that her sister Noah Cyrus and “Prison Break” actor Dominic Purcell allegedly dated before marrying her mother, Tish Cyrus. a new report from People complaints.
“Miley had no idea about the drama with Dominic. No idea at all,” a source close to the 31-year-old “Flowers” singer told the outlet just days after Noah, 24, and the 54-year-old actor’s alleged romance was revealed.
“(Miley) confronted her mother about it. She thinks it's a strange situation, but she loves her mother and wants her to be happy,” the source added.
Late last week, several media outlets claimed that Noah and Purcell had previously dated.
“Noah and Dominic saw each other as friends with benefits from time to time,” an insider told People Friday.
“They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something (with him).”
The Cyrus family matriarch, 56, apparently knew about Purcell's relationship with her young daughter, but she “never gave Noah a chance to talk about any of it before they were married.”
A source for “Entertainment Tonight” further claimed that Tish didn't warn Noah about her budding romance with the actor, leaving Noah “offended” by the whole situation.
Noah, who was recently spotted at Paris Fashion Weekalso did not attend Tish's marriage to Purcell in August 2023.

“The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes way beyond (what people think). Noah is very upset that Tish stole Dominic from him,” the source claimed.
Rumors of a Cyrus family feud began when fans noticed that Noah and his brother Braison did not attend their mother's wedding.
Instead, Noah spent time shopping at Walmart with Braison.
Page Six sent requests for comment to Miley, Tish, Noah and Purcell's reps regarding the reports, but we have yet to receive any responses.
Tish and Purcell got married in bridesmaid Miley's garden, just over a year after Tish. filed for divorce from her ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus.
Tish shares three children – Miley, Noah and Braison – with the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer and two – Brandi and Trace – with her first husband, Baxter Neal Helson.
As for Noah, she announced their engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023.
