Kylie Jenner is getting back to basics.
The “Kardashian” star I spoke with the New York Times to discuss her latest ventures on Thursday and also spoke about her evolving style, including rumors that she toned down her signature “King Kylie” aesthetic after she started dating Timothée Chalamet.
Jenner, 26, has always been known for her larger-than-life look: big hair, big lips, big booty. But after being linked to the 'Wonka' actor in April 2023, she underwent a small makeover, wearing softer, more romantic styles and less makeup.
“I don't have this thick butt-length mane, I don't have eyelash extensions, I don't have these long claws,” Jenner told the New York Times, admitting that she “was stripping a bit” when it came to her look.
When asked what she thought about rumors that her new style had to do with Chalametthe founder of Kylie Cosmetics remained a mother.
“I don’t know how I feel about it,” she said. “I just don’t want to talk about personal things.”
Although separation rumors have swirled around the couple in recent days, Jenner refused to mention the “Dune” actor in the interview; She did, however, share that she started questioning her style after her son, Aire, turned 1.
“It takes me a while after having a baby to feel like myself again,” Jenner said, adding, “you get your body back and you're like, 'Wait, the trends have changed.'”
Fans were quick to notice that her usual looks were swapped out for simpler styles, like a plain black t-shirt and jeans that she wore for an outing with Chalamet at US Open 2023.
