MINNEAPOLIS β The Minnesota Women's Professional Hockey League set a second attendance record. This is the second time in five days for the PWHL.
More than 13,000 fans filled the XCEL Energy Center for the PWHL Minnesota home opener against Montreal. The attendance was the largest ever for a women's hockey game in Minnesota.
βIn a state of 10,000 lakes, more than 13,000 fans today provided an unforgettable and wonderful time for everyone connected to the PWHL,β said PWHL Advisory Board Member Stan Kasten.

Toronto will face Minnesota at the XCEL Energy Center on January 10, 2024.
