Nick Swardson Addresses Disastrous Stand-Up Show and Theater Apologizes

Nick Swardson promises to “make up” for fans after disaster stand-up show ended with refunds offered.

The comedian's performance Sunday at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, Colo., was cut short, with Swardson being removed from the stage to the sound of boos, videos shared on social media showed.

USA TODAY has contacted Swardson's representatives for comment.

In another video, Swardson is seen escorted off stage after the auditorium lights are turned on. A man identifying himself as the theater's operations manager then comes out and announces, “We have decided to end the show early in the best interest of those who purchased tickets.” We apologize for what you saw this evening. Please send an email. “Ticketing. We will respond to inquiries and process credits and refunds.”
