Users believe that the update compromises or disables essential functions of various AMD APUs and iGPUs. In some cases they are limited to 800 MHz, which prevents entering the high operating mode, thus compromising the experience during games and races.

ROG Ally said the portable console had an issue after installing Windows 11 update KB5035853, which compromised the device's graphics drivers.
Microsoft and AMD are still unable to address the issues, but some users are seeing improvements in ROG Ally after performing the following steps:
- Abra configurations;
- Access to applications > Installed applications > AMD software;
- Select the 3-dot menu and click Repair;
- In the configuration dialog box, switch to the Redefine option;
- After reinstalling the drivers from scratch, reset your ROG Ally.
If you have installed the update and notice a possible problem, uninstall it by following the steps:
- Abra configurations;
- Click Windows Update;
- Click on the refresh history and role to the end of the page;
- Select Uninstall updates;
- Select version KB5035853, click Uninstall and follow the instructions.
