Taylor Swift Wrote Love Songs to Travis Kelce That Might Not Be Shared

The Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance may have already been documented in songs Swift wrote, but that doesn't mean they'll ever be released.

These songs, according to Us Weeklycapture their “love story and falling for him”, a development that became one of the NFL's most popular storylines as The Chiefs won a second straight Super Bowl in February.

Instead of becoming Swift's final songs on a future album, these “very personal” lyrics — ones describing a relationship that, given the singer's status and future Hall of Famer, have been anything but private — could remain unknown.

“She probably won't share them with anyone,” Us Weekly wrote Friday, citing an anonymous source. “They are very special. Songs are like poetry to her. Just like most people journal, Taylor writes lyrics. Her relationship with Travis inspired her.

Swift and Kelce began dating in the summer of 2023 and she attended 13 Chiefs games — including their four playoff games in Kansas City, Buffalo, Baltimore and then the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas — and saw Kelce contribute to trigger their third championship in five years.

The trip to Allegiant Stadium, however, was marked by a chaotic period during which Swift performed Eras Tour concerts in Tokyo, Japan, and then 12 hour flight to Los Angeles Before by plane to Las Vegas for the final match.

Kelce and Swift celebrated together on the field after the game, in addition to partying together that night, but Chiefs defensive backs coach Dave Merritt revealed in a podcast appearance this week that the singer had started attending Kansas City games ahead of a Week 3 win over the Bears – when the broadcast broadcast it in a sequelnext to Kelce's mother, Donna, for the first time.

“When (Swift) first started coming forward, it was private,” Merritt said on “The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac” podcast. “She was entering stadiums without people knowing until the camera put the spotlight on her.”

Kelce, who had 984 receiving yards and five touchdowns during the regular season before recording 32, 355 and three more, respectively, in the playoffs, traveled to Australia and watched Swift's Eras Tour performance in Sydney after the Chiefs' title.
