Parades for St. Patrick’s Day can be entertaining ways to observe this Irish festival. While most take place on March 17, others may occur before or even later. St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Manchester

A small group of volunteers organizes the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which is the biggest of its kind in New Hampshire, in Manchester. The parade follows a 2.5-mile route and will take place on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Newport Parade for Saint Patrick’s Day

Newport Since 1956, Rhode Island has celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day, which falls on March 11 this year. The 20th anniversary of the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on March 17 in the evening of 2023. Christopher McDonald, best known for playing Shooter McGavin in “Happy Gilmore,” is this year’s Parade Starter. The Molly Ringwalds will play a free concert on that particular Friday after the procession. The celebrations continue with activities on March 18, including a Village People concert.

Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parades

St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated in Chicago with two parades. On March 11, the downtown Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place. The Chicago Plumbers Local 130 UA, the same organisation in charge of organising the yearly vivid green dyeing of the Chicago River, is the event’s sponsor.

The first South Side Irish Parade took place in 1979, and the event is set for March 12 this year. There is also a designated Parade Queen.

South Carolina’s North Myrtle Beach hosts a St. Patrick’s Day parade and festival

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival in North Myrtle Beach includes around 100 parade entries and supporting activities to keep the Irish spirit alive all day and night on March 11. A street fair with three stages for live entertainment, artisan sellers, food trucks, and competitions follows the parade, making the Grand Strand the host of the event.
