The legends showed up for Sting's final match at AEW Revolution

En route to AEW Revolution last night (March 3), there was a small mess on whether or not a great wrestler from Sting's past would show up in Greensboro, North Carolina to watch his final match.

But while Kevin Nash was only there in spiritmany legends were in attendance to commemorate the occasion with The Icon.

Ric Flair was of course on his side. We also had Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat as guest timekeeper, and these two septuagenarians got involved in the match itselftaking Superkicks to the Young Bucks, before Sting and Darby Allin avenged them with a victory.

As he said he wouldJim Ross returned to the commentary desk for the first time in months to help announce the match with Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.

There were also several former Stinger colleagues in the seats for Revolutionthe main event. Magnum TA, Nikita Koloff and Scotty Riggs were filmed before the match:

Diamond Dallas Page made the trip from Georgia and – as he said – Lex Luger was there to support his friend.

What a night indeed.
