The Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society will meet to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, in the Edgefield County Council Chambers, 225 Jeter St., Edgefield. The Aiken Beekeepers will offer an introductory beekeeping course from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. beginning Tuesday, January 30, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2274 Whiskey Road. The course runs five Tuesdays and will include a field day in March. The cost is $70 per person. Children aged 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
