Travis Kelce has detailed his whirlwind trip to Australia to visit his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during her sold-out Eras World Tour.
The three-time Super Bowl champion, 34, revealed that although he only visited Sydney for 24 hours, his trip to the Antipodes “did not disappoint”.
“It was amazing out there,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said. on Wednesday's episode of the “New Heights” podcast. “I've only been to Sydney. I've met a lot of friends over the years in Melbourne and I really want to go there and see what Melbourne has to offer.”
“Sydney was a beautiful city,” shared Kelce, before detailing his romantic – and very exclusive – trip to Sydney Zoo with the 14-time Grammy winner.
“It was cool to see all the exotic animals,” the NFL star told recently retired Jason Kelce. “It was fun, man. There were helicopters at full throttle flying everywhere. All because Taylor is the biggest and best thing possible.
The duo observed Australian wildlife on a private tour of the park and even hand-fed some kangaroos and met koalas during their action-packed day.
“Tell you what, kangaroos are pretty friendly and I had the opportunity to see a red panda up close,” Kelce explained.
He spent this evening watching his famous girlfriend go wild on stage at Sydney's 82,000-seat Accor Stadium.
“And then we got to enjoy the Taylor Swift show,” Kelce said on the podcast. “Australians are pretty boisterous, they like to have a good time. I like to have a good time.
“They were just a little louder than the Argentinian crowd. And I didn't expect that. Taylor really enjoys performing in Australia,” he said.
At the concert, Kelce was seen waving and congratulating excited Swifties while walking through the crowd to his VIP tent.
He was later seen singing Swift's songs alongside Katy Perry and Rita Ora, who were also watching the show from the VIP tent.
Kelce was seen flying home the next morning before heading to Las Vegas to celebrate the Chiefs' second straight Super Bowl victory.
The All-Pro tight end was there then – and in tears – during his brother Jason's retirement announcement Monday in Philadelphia.
Swift, for her part, is currently in Singapore and is expected to wrap up her concerts on March 9 before resuming her sold-out world tour in Paris on May 9.
