DISCUSSION/OPINION
Temperatures will turn cool in early 2024. High temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s through Thursday with mostly calm weather in place. Today we will finally bring some sunshine, although the day will start with clouds and the sky will clear up until the afternoon. We will find ourselves tomorrow with mostly sunny skies for the first time in a long time! This won't last long as clouds return Wednesday and a N&W storm system could help trigger a few snow showers. We will see these disturbances move through the region on Thursday, helping to trigger a few snow showers locally.
Colder air will arrive Friday and the weekend, with temperatures reaching around freezing during this period. The weather will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds Friday and Saturday. Currently, there are indications that a coastal storm could impact the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions this Sunday. It is possible that this storm could cause snow accumulation if it is close enough to the coastline. Right now, there's not much to do other than keep an eye on this with updates coming throughout the week!
