“Beverly Hills, 90210” star Ian Ziering attacked by Los Angeles bikers

The “Sharknado” actor appears to get into a scuffle with several bikers on Hollywood Boulevard.

Ian Zieringstar of Beverly Hills, 90210was apparently involved in a roadside altercation in Hollywood on New Year's Eve.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the actor appears to shove a mini-motorcycle driver on Hollywood Boulevard after numerous bikers pass through a congested area near his SUV. Several other bikers quickly jump out to seemingly attack Ziering, and the actor appears to knock one to the ground before being chased across the street by numerous helmeted attackers.

Representatives for Ziering and the LAPD did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

TMZ also reported that Ziering's car may have been hit by one of the bikes, which could have caused the incident. The actor's 12-year-old daughter Mia was apparently with Ziering in his car, according to TMZ. The outlet also reported that law enforcement took an official report naming Ziering as the victim, but made no arrests.

Ziering responded to the incident on Instagram. “This situation highlights a wider problem of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this type of behavior, causing fear and chaos. , while the response from the authorities seems insufficient,” Ziering said.

“I have always been an advocate against bullying and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety,” he continued. “We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such anarchy and to provide the necessary resources to prevent further events.”
