Brewton Arts Council to fill January with entertainment

Published at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 2, 2024

The Brewton Arts Council plans to entertain the community in January with two great shows. For young actors in the community, Missoula Children's Theater will have the Little Red Truck arrive on Monday, January 15 for auditions and a week of rehearsals for those chosen for the production of “The Secret Garden.” The curtain will rise at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 20 at Woodfin-Patterson Auditorium.
Then the following Thursday, January 25, the stage will be filled with music, stories and laughter as Sean Dietrich and Three on a String perform. Known as “Sean of the South,” Deitrich will also sing, perform and mix in a few stories – perhaps about his connections to Brewton. Plus, Three on a String, a trio of musicians (and comedians) is sure to make you tap your feet and laugh. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for each performance and will be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance tickets can be obtained by contacting a member of the Brewton Arts Council via Facebook or on their website at BrewtonCouncilofthearts. com. For ticket information, contact Susan Miller at 251-363-0176 or by email at sdibrell@mchsi.com.
