According to recent reports, Cameron Diaz is retiring from acting again after she finishes filming the Netflix movie “Back in Action” with Jamie Foxx[1]
Diaz had previously retired from acting in 2018, but surprised fans when she announced her return to star alongside Foxx in the upcoming action-comedy flick,
However, the movie has reportedly been plagued with issues, including a recent incident involving an employee who allegedly attempted to steal more than $40,000 from Foxx,
There have also been reports of on-set drama and a major meltdown by Foxx,
Sources close to Diaz have stated that her decision to retire from acting again has nothing to do with the issues surrounding the movie or her relationship with Foxx,
Rather, Diaz is reportedly retiring because of the long hours of shooting that keep her away from her family and because she is having difficulty getting back into the acting groove,
Diaz is married to Good Charlotte frontman Benji Madden and they have a 3-year-old daughter named Raddix,
It remains unclear whether Diaz’s retirement from acting will be permanent this time around.
