Ed Sheeran’s wife to launch new business | Entertainment

Ed Sheeran's wife started her own business.

Cherry Seaborn – who has daughters Lyra and Jupiter with the singer-songwriter – has registered the Babes In Armor brand with Companies House.

According to documents released by Cherry, the company may sell products such as toiletries, lingerie and maternity clothing.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre section: “Cherry has her own career and isn't interested in Ed's fame. Ed likes her to have her own passions.

“Babes In Armor was an idea she had with a friend, costume designer Jemima Penny, and there are lots of possibilities.

“They have registered the name and are working on the details of their new business. It's very exciting.”

Ed, 32, and Cherry, 31, first met while at school together and reconnected in 2015.

They married in 2019 and Ed has previously insisted Cherry isn't interested in fame.

He told 'The Elvis Duran Morning Show': “We talked a lot about that, about closing the door after you've opened it a little bit. She's always been a private person.

“She never had a public Instagram. She's never done a red carpet with me. We have always been very private.

“Our private life is our private life.”

However, Cherry appeared in Ed's documentary “Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All” and while she was happy to take part, Ed insisted she had no plans to seek out star.

He explained: “I think the fact that my kids look back 40 years from now and see their parents in love, going through life or their grandparents, I think there's something there.

“(Cherry) just tries to block him out and ignore him, I think. Everyone respects the fact that, I think, the door is closed again now because he's not someone you're suddenly going to see show up on a sign show here and do this and do that.
