Gal Gadot is mom — again! On Wednesday, the 38-year-old Wonder Woman The star took to Instagram to reveal that she welcomed a baby girl with husband Jaron Varsano.
Gadot, who had not previously announced her pregnancy, shared the surprise news with a photo of herself cuddling the newborn in her hospital bed.
“My sweet daughter, welcome. The pregnancy was not easy and we survived,” Gadot wrote. “You have brought so much light into our lives, living up to your name, Ori, which means 'my light' in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude.”
She added: “Welcome to the girls' house. Dad's pretty cool too.”
Gadot and Varsano, who married in 2008, are also the parents of Alma, 12, Maya, 6, and Daniella, 2. spoke to In the style in 2022, she spoke about childbirth.
“I love giving birth. I would do it once a week if I could. It's so magical,” she said. “And I still take epidurals, to be honest, so it's not that painful. Just when you feel like you're creating life, it's amazing.”
The happy moment of childbirth comes after challenges for Gadot, who said pregnancies “are difficult” for her.
“I feel sick and have migraines,” she said. “I'm not in my element.”
As for life as a busy mom, Gadot told the outlet that there are challenges as an actress and a parent.
“Filming a movie while you're pregnant or when you have a baby. When you're on set, you're like a kite. You can fly so high and try to get some air. Then you go home to do your primary job change as a mother,” she said. “It's not about me, it's: 'OK, now I have to bathe Maya, feed Alma, put Daniella to bed.' That's the badass thing I do: juggling my family life and my acting career.”
