Google announces that Chrome will allow you to contact a procedure to detect phishing attempts at a given time. This function works while browsing, but it is necessary to update the list of the browser used to check for potentially dangerous companies. The hardware is part of the Navegação Segura do app.
In a post on your security blog, Google explains that Chrome currently checks using a list of suspicious sites that are not on the user's computer or mobile phone. It is updated at intervals of 30 to 60 minutes.
The problem is that this is not sufficient anymore, because some attacks of Phishing Use pages that are no less than 10 minutes long, at a slower pace than updating. On the other hand, the entire device has a ficar capacity reduced to a new list every hour.
Today, Chrome will look for a URL that is part of a secure page cache. If it is not in this cache, the browser can carry out a real-time check, sending cryptographic and anonymized information to the Google server. This coincides with the company's updated list, where the user receives an alert.
Protection will be activated by the controller on Chrome
Chrome's browsing safety system offers two levels of protection, a protection system and a reinforcement (and it is clear that there is also the possibility of deactivation or recourse). The new verification method is part of the Protection Padrão.
Enhanced Protection contains real-time verification, but it is different. It uses real-paced list controls and classifications using artificial intelligence. “We are critical (stronger protection) so that users can share more data in exchange for stronger security,” Google says.
The latest version of Chrome for desktop, Android, and iOS contains an updated security system. To have your browser configured with the Protection Controller, go to “Settings”, “Privacy and Security” (on the sidebar) and click “Security”. In this case, this action is necessary to start a new procedure.
