Gwyneth Paltrow court trial over 2016 ski collision begins

According to the New York Times [1], Gwyneth Paltrow is set to testify in a trial over a skiing accident that occurred in Park City, Utah in 2016. Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist, accused Paltrow of violently crashing into him while skiing and causing him permanent harm. Sanderson’s lawyers claim that Paltrow “skied out of control” and struck Sanderson from behind while he was downhill from her. They also allege that Paltrow’s ski instructor saw that Sanderson was injured but skied off instead of helping him.Paltrow claims that she was downhill from Sanderson and therefore he was responsible for the collision. The trial began on March 21, 2023, with opening statements from both sides 

The outcome of the trial is not yet known.The awards telecast has been losing viewers for years and new leadership wants to reverse this trend starting Sunday. Additionally, it reports on an actor taking on his first lead role in a film he co-wrote.
