A new show is now coming to London, 47 years after the iconic musician's death in 1977.
The 'Elvis Evolution' AI hologram experience is set to open in November 2024, and fans of the King can expect to witness a “breathtaking” experience. “The show culminates with a concert experience that will recreate the seismic impact of seeing Elvis in concert for a whole new generation of fans, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy,” the production company explained.
This unique experience follows the success of the London show “ABBA Vogaya”, which implemented digital avatars of the fan-favorite band and recreated younger versions of the band members. “Thanks to AI and groundbreaking technology, you will be able to witness iconic Elvis performances as if you were actually there and celebrate the defining moments of Elvis Presley’s extraordinary life and career,” the release said .
“You're going to take a journey and really understand what Elvis went through during his life,” said CEO Andrew McGuinness. “Elvis fans can expect a memorable experience like no other.”
Show details promise a life-size Elvis on stage. “The end of this experience is a real crescendo, where you will see a life-size AI Elvis performing some of his greatest hits.” The Elvis revival has also been successful for the stars involved in the two recent biopics. Most recently, Cailee Spaeny, who plays Priscilla Presley, received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture.
