Jacobs Entertainment will take ownership of Reno's Gold 'N Silver Inn on May 1.
And according to owner Jeff Paine, Jacobs will continue to run the longtime restaurant as is with “plans for future expansion and renovation.”
Paine announced the update in a Facebook post Thursday.
Paine also says employees can continue to work and that Jacobs will maintain the current menu, with changes made “slowly over time.”
Paine concludes, “I have spent 35 wonderful years as the owner/operator of Reno’s oldest restaurant. I can't tell you how many people I have met and how much I have come to appreciate them and our fantastic employees. »
Jacobs Entertainment initially purchased The Gold 'N Silver Inn in early 2022.
With this purchase, Jacobs became the owner of all of Reno's Neon Line properties south of West 4th Street between Keystone Avenue and West Street.
