Jamie Foxx says he's finally going to explain what exactly happened to him that landed him in the hospital last year – but it looks like it'll be some sort of TV special.
The comedian/actor received a Producers Award on Sunday evening in Los Angeles at the African American Film Critics Association Awards – where he gave a touching speech and explained how his outlook on life changed for the better after what he lived.
Of course he is referring to the Health scare it kept him sidelined for most of 2023 – a mysterious illness that was never truly solved… but which he says gave him a new perspective.
He was joking about the subject, but at one point he made a revelation…that he was going to discuss the details of his hospitalization in due course. The only downside, he says, is that he will do it his way… that is to say, with humor and comedy.
The way he talks about it here…it seems like Jamie wants to do this in a stand-up context.
No timetable has been offered for when this might come to fruition – but this is the first time we've heard Jamie promise to tackle the issue head on… as there have been plenty of rumors and speculation , of which he is well aware. We're talking about all the clone conspiracy chatter here.
Another highlight of Jamie's time at the event…he posed with Jonathan Majors And Meagan Good — who both attended AAFCA and looked like a happy couple.
Jonathan has just come out of a criminal conviction …but he continues his life despite everything.
As for Jamie… he's obviously still hilarious – that's evident from this event, as he's back to his old self. It will be interesting to see if/when he spills the tea on what happened.
