A little too long in the makeup chair!
Kacey Musgraves Accidentally Experienced an Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction on 'Saturday Night Live' leaving a clip in her hair during the final bow of the show.
“The clip. I forgot to remove the clip,” Musgraves, 35, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in a photo of her wearing a maxi blue denim dress and a large silver clip as she stood next to host Sydney Sweeney.
Despite the mistake, many of the country singer's fans assured her that the accessory seemed to go with the outfit.
“It suits you, girl,” a fan commented.
“The way I didn’t even notice because she stays on SERVICE 24/7,” job a second person.
"Aww, I thought it was on purpose lol, well you looked (and sounded) fabulous anyway," rented a third person.
“The Hair Clip Realizing She's Debuting Live on National Television”, joked a fourth person.
Musgraves' appearance on “SNL” — where she sang “Deeper Well” and “Too Good to Be True” — marked her third performance on the long-running NBC variety show.
His next album “Deeper Well” is set to be released on March 15.
Musgraves' accident wasn't the only viral moment to happen at the 8H studio this weekend.
In Sweeney's opening monologue, the “White Lotus” alum revealed that her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell was in the audience – and denied rumors that they were secretly dating.
“That’s obviously not true,” explained Sweeney26 years. “My fiancé and I produced the movie together and he was there during the entire shoot, and I just want everyone to know that he is the man of my dreams and that we are still together and stronger than ever. “
“He even came here tonight to support me. Can we talk to him? » continued the “Euphoria” star, as the camera cut at Powell provoking a burst of laughter and applause from the audience.
“Yeah, no, he’s not my fiancé. He's in my dressing room! she said, referring to Jonathan Davino.
Powell, 35, later appeared in a sketch where he tried to steal Sweeney from her boyfriend.
Powell and his ex-girlfriend, Gigi Paris, separated at the beginning of April 2023 after three years of relationship. Sweeney, for her part, has been engaged to Davino, 40, since 2022.
In May, she wore it engagement ring for the first time in almost a year.
Sweeney and the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor have vehemently denied ever being more than friends.
