Kamala Harris stumbles over her words in Ghana speech: ‘A lot of that work
is the work that I am here to do’

Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a speech in Ghana on Monday, where she stumbled over her words and repeated herself, prompting comparisons to the main character of HBO’s “Veep.”

During a joint conference with Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, Harris discussed the importance of the economy and priorities such as freedom and liberty.

She also reflected on the young population of Africa, stating that the median age on the continent is 19 and that one in four people occupying a place on Earth by 2050 will be on this continent.

This is not the first time Harris has faced criticism for her speeches, as she was widely mocked online for repeating the word “history” multiple times during a Women’s History Month speech, and for discussing her love for Venn diagrams during a climate crisis event in January.
