Black flag
In the early '80s, punks and metalheads were often mortal enemies, like Seinfeld and Newman with mosh pits. Entering this fray on a major label was Black Flag, whose second album, “My War,” saw the band incorporate influences of Black Sabbath and doom metal into their aggressive hardcore. Black Flag celebrates the album's 40th anniversary on this tour, playing the entire record in a two-set concert. Join them Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay. Tickets are $36; houseofblues.com/lasvegas.
