Edwin Díaz is a Puerto Rican baseball pitcher who currently plays for the New York Mets in the Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on March 22, 1994, in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Díaz is 6-3 (190 cm) tall and weighs 165 lbs (74 kg). He has played seven seasons in the MLB.Unfortunately, Edwin Díaz suffered a right knee injury during Puerto Rico’s post-win celebration following a World Baseball Classic game against the Dominican Republic on March 15, 2023.
