Music bosses ‘try to tempt Britney Spears into a comeback’ | Entertainment

Music bosses are trying to 'excite' Britney Spears about a potential comeback.

The 42-year-old pop star recently insisted she would “never” record new music – but bosses remain keen to “present” her with new songs in the coming weeks, in a bid to make her change one's mind.

A source told Rolling Stone: “Right now, management and A and R are trying to get her excited about music.

“Right now, she's not actively recording, but they are making songs to present to her.”

Despite this, the source acknowledged that “nothing is cemented or set in stone” when it comes to the pop star's possible return to the top of the charts.

In contrast, Britney previously denied the suggestion that she was working on new music.

The 'Toxic' singer – who hasn't released a studio album since 2016's 'Glory' – denied that Charli XCX had ever been approached to write tracks for her comeback album, with Britney insisting that 'she would only write music “for pleasure”. in the future.

She wrote on Instagram: “I will never go back to the music industry!!!

“When I write, I write for fun or I write for others!!!

“For those of you who have read my book, there is a lot you don't know about me…I have written over 20 songs for other people in the last two years!!! am a nigger and honestly i enjoy it. way!!! (sic)”

Britney also denied claims that her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” was “illegally” published without her approval.

The pop icon said: “People are also saying MY BOOK WAS ILLEGALLY RELEASED WITHOUT MY APPROVAL and that's far from the truth… have you read the news these days??? I'm so LOVED and blessed!!! (sic)”
