Nvidia presented this week (18) a platform with a digital giant from Terra for climate activities. Earth-2's proposal is to offer the most realistic or possible simulation of climatic conditions. With this, the country can avoid and minimize extreme weather events, such as furacões and strong storms – whenever there are more recently.
The Weather Company, Taiwan's meteorological organization, will be the first company to use Earth-2's API. Following the market and Nvidia, the digital world of our planet uses the DGX Cloud AI platform to develop artificial intelligence. Earth-2 uses Nvidia's CorrDiff generator AI model, which promises to generate images with resolutions 12.5 times larger than current ones.
More realistic simulation to avoid disasters
As Jensen Huang announced in the Earth-2 announcement, technology to improve user preparedness for extreme weather conditions. “Today's climate disasters are normal: historic periods, disasters and floods appear in our notifications with alarming frequency,” Huang said.

Second, at Nvidia, combining Earth-2 with weather company services can reduce the time it takes to update forecasts and hazardous weather advisories to seconds. Current technology produced gives results in minutes or hours.
The example presented by Nvidia used the Taiwan scenario, for which you can generate land settlements and destructions. These problems are not common to the Brazilian climate. Earth-2 can more accurately enter locations affected by tuff passages.
In Brazil, this technology can be applied to identify our events. In recent years, accidents and destruction of the earth have become more tornadoes due to extreme climatic effects. With this type of digital technology, Brazilian public bodies, such as Civil Defense, can communicate quickly with more precision on the areas that are concerned.
