Sebastian Lletget, a soccer player for FC Dallas, has been accused of cheating on his fiancé, singer Becky G, by an anonymous woman on Instagram.
The woman posted videos and images of Lletget supposedly cheating on Becky G with her just two months after announcing their engagement.
She also claimed to have proof of the affair and offered to send it to Becky G privately.
Lletget has since publicly apologized to Becky G on social media for “disrespecting” her.
He admitted to a “10-minute lapse in judgment” that resulted in an extortion plot.
Lletget did not confirm or deny the cheating allegations in his apology.
This is not the first time Lletget has made headlines for his behavior. In 2021, he used an anti-gay slur during a game and later apologized for his actions.
Becky G, his longtime partner, portrayed the first LGBTQ protagonist in a big-budget superhero movie in 2017’s “Power Rangers”.
