“A message from the department” was broadcast live by Taylor Swift of Singapore. The stream was broadcast live during the surprise set of songs, or as Swift called it, the “crazy acoustic section”, of the first of six dates of the Eras tour in Singapore – the part of the concert where he plays a few songs surprise (or, lately, composite applications). She will then perform at the Singapore National Stadium on March 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9.

As the stream continued, Swifties noticed that Taylor Swift's official online store was closed. Visitors couldn't access the store, which was closed for a while, without the site administrator's password, leaving fans wondering if something new was about to go on sale . At the time of going to press, she the online store is operationalwithout new products.

The “a message from the department” message that appeared with the livestream is a reference to Swift's upcoming album, The Department of Tortured Poetscoming April 19. The message ended with a black heart.

Swift has already announced three variations of the album, each featuring a different bonus track: “The Manuscript,” “The Bolter” and “The Albatross.” She revealed “The Bolter” and “The Albatross” editions during previous tours in Melbourne And Sydney, Australia. Fans guessed that another announcement might have been made at the first concert of the tour in Singapore – perhaps a fourth bonus song – but no announcement was made.

And given his choice of songs to perform and broadcast live (and the fact that only this mashup was broadcast, not her full acoustic set), Swifties speculated that the Easter egg-loving musician might have given a little Reputation-signs related to Singapore.

“I Don't Wanna Live Forever” is Swift's duet with Zayn Malik, first released in December 2016 and included on the album. Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack when it was released in February 2017.

“Dress” is track #12 from Swift's sixth studio album, Reputationreleased in November 2017.

So far, Swift has released the “Taylor version” of every album she's set to re-record, except for Reputation and his self-titled debut album. No release date has yet been announced for either re-recording.

Just before the “I Don't Wanna Live Forever”/”Dress” mashup in Singapore, Swift performed a mashup of Speak Now “Mine” opener and Red the guitar-driven track “Starlight” which was not streamed live on his official account, but captured by others in the stadium. Watch both mashups in the clips below.
