Yung Gravy will be the main attraction of Spring Break

Yung Gravy, a platinum-certified rapper, will perform at SUNY Cortland’s Spring Fling concert on Saturday, April 29 in the Park Center Alumni Arena. D.J. Lady Verse and country vocalist Kristen Merlin will also perform.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the show, which runs from 7 to 11 p.m. Ticket information will be released shortly.

The concert concludes a week of Spring Fling festivities coordinated by the Student Activities Board, which includes the annual Spring Fling Carnival, which will be hosted on the lawn of Moffet Center on the day of the concert from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Yung Gravy creates dynamic and funny tracks by fusing modern rap with old themes from 1950s through 1980s music. He rose to prominence with the platinum-selling single “Mr. Clean” in 2016. “Betty,” his first Billboard Hot 100 charting single, was released in 2022. (Get Money).

His song “Gravy Train” became the Tampa Bay Lightning’s locker room triumph anthem as they marched towards their eventual Stanley Cup title in 2022, and it was etched within the team’s official Stanley Cup rings.
