MediaTek has expanded your hardware catalog to basic cell phones at the third stage (27) with the announcement of the Helio G91, a processor presented as a successor to Hélio G88. A new platform that serves the purpose of improving or supporting advanced camera technologies in the most expensive devices.
The two tasks of the Helio G91 are your support for 108 MP summer cameras — The ancestor was limited to 64 MP — with sensorless zoom and 2.0 µm pixel binning. The technology, which before being delivered somewhere in the most expensive cell phones, will soon turn around but no longer presents a basic segment to insert photos in return mode without losing quality.
Other photography resources include a depth analysis mechanism for bokeh images in the dual camera, electronic image stabilization (EIS), and rotating shutter compensation algorithms.
In your CPU and GPU datasheet, the new processor matches the same specifications as the Helio G88. We are falando of uma 8-core CPU with Arm Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 running at 2.0 GHz and an Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU with a 1 GHz clock. The platform supports 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and is equipped with eMMC 5.1.

For visual media consumption, a platform offers support for displays with a maximum resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and a maximum resolution of 90 Hz. No connection department, Helio G91 is limited to 4G , supporting VoLTE. The hardware is compatible with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
And MediaTek has not confirmed that these will be the first cell phones equipped with the Helio G91.
