The Xbox Series S Starter Bundle is on sale for $220

A bundle including an Xbox Series S and three months of Game Pass Ultimate is down to $220, making it a relatively inexpensive entry point into modern gaming.

The Xbox Series S Starter Pack includes three months of access to Game Pass Ultimate (valued at $51). As such, it has pretty much everything you need to immerse yourself in modern gaming, aside from a screen and a decent internet connection. This last point is particularly important because the Xbox Series S is an entirely digital console. There's no disc drive, so you won't be able to insert an Xbox 360 or Xbox One disc and play it. Instead, the Series S relies entirely on digital downloads and cloud streaming.

The Series S isn't as powerful as its sibling, the Xbox Series The Series S also has half as much onboard storage as the Series X, thanks to its custom 512GB SSD.

This means you'll either have to delete games often to make room for new ones, or use Xbox Game Pass Ultimate's cloud streaming feature more. The subscription service includes access to a ton of games, from first-party titles (like series, And ) to successful third-party games (various Assassin's Creed titles, , And ) in the Killer Indies (, Venba And ).

Microsoft also just revealed when it will begin offering Activision Blizzard titles on Game Pass after completing its purchase of the publisher in October. Diablo IV East adding even more value to one of the best subscription services in gaming.
